Last night on NBC news, they had a segment on how difficult it is to place black dogs. I was shocked. Since I am black from the tip of my toes to the tip of my nose, I have always enjoyed the love and care of my humans. Little did I know that there was a bias against black dogs and more of them are put down in animal shelters than any other reason.
The reasons were varied from “they are more likely to bite” to “they are more difficult to photograph”. I can assure you that black dogs are difficult to photograph. I have learned many new words from Marilyn and Al as they have tried to get a “beauty shot” of me.
As you can see, I tend to be fuzzy.
Lucky
Lucky, it's always nice to see pictures of you, fuzzy or not. My cat is a dark gray ( almost blue, thus his name, Blue), and very difficult to photograph

Hi Lucky: I love black dogs and black cats; I have one of each, and I like your fuzziness.
