Today is a holiday and I don't have much to report. We won't be getting any mail – the usual high point of the day around here. I get to bark lustily at the mail man, while Al and Marilyn yell at me to be quiet. It can get pretty noisy for a while.
Sometimes, I think they make a lot more noise than I do.
This being a holiday, there is no school so Marilyn and Ian have a project. They are going to make a Harry Potter robe. Ian said not to worry about the insignia pin – he already has that on hand. Marilyn may be somewhat handicapped by the presence of a little boy when making the garment. She will have to watch her language, but I suspect there will be little bursts of blue steam coming from her ears from time to time. The photo below is what they are aiming for.
When they get it finished, I will have a photo and you can judge how well they did. It is supposed to snow tonight, so we may have a brief spate of winter weather. I think it is time for my nap.
Lucky

Lucky, How blessed Ian is to have such a talented grandmother! Love the Harry Potter robe; I know he'll look as good as Harry in it. I miss Harry; Dick and I read all the books and saw all of the movies. Enjoy the snow!
