Marilyn went to a Women’s Meeting at her church where they had a Show and Tell. From left to right the story of each photo is: Maurieen L. feeding a lamb as a child in Alberta, Canada; a Welsh “love spoon” that is carved from a single piece of wood; a painting of the old Cyclone store by Jean H., Jo P. and two of the several children’s books she has written and published; a “feathered star” quilt by Jeanne C. that is hand pieced and quilted; samples of “rosemalling” painted by Sue T. (Sue, Jeanne and Jo are sisters).
Marilyn took a couple of paintings that have already been shown on this blog, so I won’t bore you with repeating them. Tomorrow is her birthday (shhh!) I will show a photo of a special birthday card she got at the meeting.

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realize I was crashing Blackberries and such. I like publishing photos as I think it adds more to our stories (plus I don't have to wear my little paws to the quick.)
Hi to all in Minnesota!

The new format is great, Lucky. Now I can read your blog during my bus ride without the pics crashing my BlackBerry. Excellent!

The women's meeting brought out interesting talents from all the ladies and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A sandwich of yours was made with a 'bread wrap' that looked very tasty, I noticed. I'm going to try that. Everyone was so talkative we must miss seeing each other this summer. The pictures you took are great! Thanks, Sue
